So, I’ll try any type of art once… hell I went to Live Drawing in college (nekkid people) and I like trying new things, and I’m in no way an expert in any forms of them. But I’ve definitely found one thing that I am not good at. After seeing some pictures that Anna Relle did using here Wacom Tablet, sketching images. I thought I would try it myself with the typical, anything you can do I can do better frame of mind… well that didn’t work out. Below is my result… but to see some actual good work. So Anna decided to throw down a Photoshop challenge, usually I’m the one setting the challenges so it was a bit weird to be on the receiving end of a challenge. Even though it wasn’t a competition I still decided to give it ago. When I saw the stock image that she had chosen for the Photoshop challenge I had no idea what I was going to do with the image, but then something hit me, I’m not sure how happy I am with this piece. Its the first real work I’ve done in photoshop for ages.
The simple rule was that the image could be manipulated in anyway you see fit, but at least 1 element of the image must be recognisable / remain and now that I think about it I could have done something completely different! Like just keep the door or something randomly.. but oh well I’m done now! You should join in as well! Check out iRelle for the Info!
