Monday, the Queens Birthday Public Holiday, Myself, Anna Relle & Kyle jumped in the car, had some subway. Cameras and Warm Clothing in hand and we headed for Mt Barrow. So recently a hot topic in the news has been the PSA Ad from England trying to prevent people from texting while driving by using a more direct scare tactic. Now people are wondering should we use this Ad or something like it in Tasmania due to the higher than average road toll this year. With the first half of the year having the highest road death toll for several years. Some people are saying that the ad wont work in Tasmania, but nothing else they have done so far has helped slow down the Deaths on our roads so maybe its time for something different and not just the old. “Just Like That” Ad. Todays blog is inspired by idiots that are allowed to legally drive a car, but lets not forget the idiots that also decide to drive with out a license. The thought for todays blog came to me on the drive home from work last night, I was going around the round-a-bout just off the highway, looked in my rear-view mirror and what do I see? A white car with its headlights on high beam right up my ass. At first I speed up to get more of a distance between me and the other car, but then my mind clicked and I slowed down.
Today was interesting for me, I pretty much started the day by posting my old Telstra ZTE F256 Flip Phone to a Matt in Melbourne. I sent it by express.. I just hope it gets there in one piece… (Okay Daniel move onto something interesting) After which I called Kyle while driving around (BAD DANIEL! GO TO THE CORNER) which resulted in us having Lunch at Charcoal Chicken and something triggered us to talk about Eckleston Road. A piece of formerly gravel road that was kind of bad luck to Me and Yolanda with in a 24 Hr Time frame.
