I can’t stop?

29 May

So ever since the other day when I started drawing again, I’ve felt the urge to draw and draw. Today I drew a photo of Andrew from a picture taken at Christmas time at Claire’s place. Once again my style seems to have changed…

Sketch it?

28 May

After last nights drawing of iRelle, I once again whipped out the drawing tablet, and this time I drew a picture I had of iKoz. Once again, the style is different, I attempted colouring, but Kyles skin tone is naturally more tan than Anna and the colour scheme didn’t work and I didn’t want to make him look like a Block of Chocolate either. Colouring Fail!

iRelle in the P@int?

27 May

So its been a while since I’ve done any photoshop sketches.
After seeing some of iRelle’s recent ones on her facebook profile
I was inspired by her style, and unfortunatly I can not duplicate it!
You should defenatly check out her work! its 100x better than mine.
This picture was drawn from a photo when iRelle, iKoz and I went to Greens Beach
back in summer…

yes it is now freakin cold. Grr :-(

DUCK AND COVER

17 May

So this weekend, I ventured off up to the Great Lake with my Dad in his Land cruiser 4WD and some members of the Devonport 4WD Club to find an old Bomb Shelter built by a crazy man in the late 70′s early 80′s. The trip was fun, and the first challenge was a river crossing which turned out to be a little bit deep as you can see in some of the photos below. One car got stuck on the way out and required a bit of a hand… good thing we came prepared.

Then for a while it was rather bumpy trip, weaving along an old trail with trees and rocks everywhere. Eventually we came across some button grass which was… well wet and muddy. After the first 4WD went through and made a mess of the spot, Dad went through and managed to bury the car up to the headlights, which required the use of his shiny new winch. Originally we were going to get toed out by the 4WD behind us so we could attempt to cross the mud, but he came through a little to eager and got himself bogged right behind us. Needless to say we were stuck for a while.

More bumpy rock rides later and we came across another river which people had attempted to block off so we couldn’t cross. Although we got across easily enough and it wasnt long after that when we found the bomb shelter. Its a weird place, not many people would have seen it, although enough that some idiots have made a mess. Like always. Several containers full of stuff, One full of Library books, last stamped 1962, another one full of Library shelving. Others with desks and chairs, kitchenettes and an entire one full of empty plastic bottles. Take a look at the photos below :-)

Oh yeah, and on the way out… We kinda got stuck in the water and flooded. Whoops

The View

This picture is taken from the top of a hill in Asbestos Ranges while doing some Four Wheel Driving with my Dad and brother. Yes the photo is hazy and yes this is yet again a lazy blog post. Hurrah!
