Treasure Madness, the only reason I even use Facebook anymore and its all because of a stupid little flash game that @ClaireMichelle got me hooked to! A couple of weeks ago I started playing when watching How I Met Your Mother at Claire’s place and now a few weeks later I’m level 38 and wondering, why the hell am I still playing this point and click Flash Game? I played Farmville for a while until I got up enough points that I didn’t have to work for anything anymore and the game became dull, now my crops have withered away and I don’t care.

But I still find myself desperately searching maps digging up squares for treasures! Maybe the fact that there is such a wide variety of treasures to find and that when you lock in a set you know your that much closer to having more Museum $$ But What ever it is, you should really check out Treasure Madness on Facebook and join my Team and send me Health kits!

Just a quick blog update, because I feel i have to let the world know.

At 2:22 Sunday the 13th of September, after standing up from my desk and walking to my bed
I managed to trip over my Macbook’s Magsafe power connector
Successfully unplug the Macbook with out it moving an Inch
(thank god for magsafe)
And then proceed to slamming my head
Into the doorframe
Successfully turning off the light switch
with my own forehead.

It hurts like hell.
But it got the Job Done.
Light Off – Check
Macbook unplugged so the charging light doesn’t keep me awake – Check
Everything still in one piece? – 50%

Whats Crackin!?

So its time for another bloggity blog blog, Yummoooo.

Not much has happened since my last blogity blog, although there is the news that I now require glasses for long distance viewing. Apparently things aren’t supposed to be as blurry as they were looking, so now after a trip to the Optometrist and $200 later I am a week away from having to wear glasses for driving and watching TV, anything that requires me focusing at something in the distance. I have a feeling it will look something like this….

What else is new? Uhm… well I just completed my Tax return for the year, I should be getting around $600 + back out of the $6000 that was withheld. Sooo crap! I want more more more! But I guess I should be thankful that I am getting any of this money back, especially considering everyone got $900 earlier in the year.

Oh and I suck at ordering things on line! I ordered Heroes Season 3 on DVD from EzyDVD when i wasnt logged in, and went back a few weeks later and ordered it again when I was logged in, and now I magically have 2 copies of Heroes Season 3… Who likes Heroes? I got a DVD to give away… My bad.

Uhm, yeah… as you can see I’ve been rather lazy lately and haven’t actually blogged in a few days. I’ve checked out my blog everyday and looked at the daily view count and all that jazz but nothing has hit me to make me think. WOW I should blog about this, that or the fact that I’m no longer posting every single day I don’t look at things and think. “Would this make a good blog post” So I think I MAY start trying to blog again every day, even if they are just short and sweet… although knowing me they will be short and stupid.

Yesterday or today, one of them! Was the first day of spring. YAY I’m so glad we are heading into better weather! I hate winter, and even though summer can get unbelievably hot. I’m glad its just around the corner. Better weather may mean more photos and just stuff in general.

This coming weekend I have a photo session planed with Anna and Claire! So look out for that on my Flickr Page either late Saturday or some time Sunday!

Since going back to work I haven’t really done anything, but I haven’t been feeling to good either. Yesterday me and Kyle went up to Ben Lomond to see the Snow before it was gone for the year… but we chickened out when we got to a National Pass check point and 1. We were in a Ford Focus, Front 2 Wheel Drive and didn’t have snow chains and 2. We didn’t have a National Park pass. So it was a waste of a trip but a good drive.

What else… Snow Leopard came in the mail! It’s fantastic… That is all

It’s been one of those days

Ever had one of those days where all you want to do is sit around and do absolutely NOTHING? Today has been one of those days for me, where I’ve wondered between my Bedroom, the Kitchen, the Lounge room, the Garage and the occasional trip to the bathroom. I spent the morning reformatting my Brothers Acer laptop, for the record I HATE ACER, they are terrible machines. I deffinatly pick Dell over Acer in the Windows Platform Laptops.

What else did I do? Uhm I watched half a season of Merlin on DVD, Played Forza 2 and Halo 3 on the Xbox 360 and also even loaded up World of Warcraft for a few minutes, although the boredom quickly set in with that. Please, it was just a fad!

I spent a fair bit of time outside playing with the Dog, I also chased him with the Vacuum cleaner… What else? I attempted to help Dad clean the 4WD, but I didn’t have the patience to do much.

But now… I sit here in bed with my Macbook Pro, watching Stargate Atlantis on DVD and wondering how the hell I managed to waste an entire day doing crap all. What’s worse is that it’s only 11PM and im dead tired. So maybe I will hit the hay once again. Goodnight Blogosphere!

Just a heads up that this Blog isn’t really a blog its just me posting something because I want to make sure I do 2 Blog posts a week at the minimum, Usually I don’t have a problem with keeping up my posts but in the last couple of day’s I’ve been getting sick and my head just isn’t really with me. So on a suggestion from @AnnaRelle here are a few pictures that I found on flickr.com that are of interest to me. All these pictures were taken with the same sort of DSLR that I own, damn them for being better photographers than I am!

Let me just say that I have a really super fantastic reason for not getting this blog out on time, so no your not allowed to punish me so I would appreciate it if you would all just put your pitch forks and blow torches away while I explain my self. Okay? Good. Now to the reason!

I would also like to point out that I am writing this at 12:15 AM Monday, so it’s only 15 minutes late and the reason for that is I only just finished work about 10 minutes ago? Your probably wondering why I was at work until Monday… the reason for that is that there were some refrigeration issues at about 9PM and it took until 9:30 for some one to get there and then it wasn’t fixed until 11:54.

About 7 missed calls later I realized that the managers had been trying to contact me, security had been calling them asking why the alarms hadn’t been set and they were trying to call me to make sure that everything was okay and there had been no big old massacre or anything like that. But alas all was well… figuratively speaking anyway.

I had so much to talk about in my blog earlier today and now that I’m tired everything all thought seems to have alluded me.

Oh that’s right *brain clicks* I was going to tell you about my sims. I started off with one young adult male whose name I can no longer remembered, he fell in love with a girl that he met at the community pool. They had a child and then decided they should get married… not long after they had another child and my sim became rich, it turns out that the girl he married was loaded! Several investment properties later, yes several and yes investments, they had another child.

By this stage they have moved into a big house and have two cars, four businesses and my sim no longer has to work for his money. So he was pottering around the home working on the dishwasher that broke down. (he prefers to repair things himself rather than to have some one else do it) and he gets electrocuted…. Dead… My first sim lasted me three days and he died… at least he has a legacy now. But his wife has already moved onto another man who was actually the guy that came to fix the dishwasher in the end. Co-incidence??? I’m thinking maybe the wife had the hots for this repair man and planed her partners death… but that would be assuming that the Sim’s had more brain function that that of 1000101010101010101101001000001000100000101000101000010010

Theater, Movies and the Like

Let me just start this Blog with an apology of sorts. In like 3 different ways to be exact.

1. I fail at posting every two weeks… It’s friday night almost Saturday and this is my first pathetic attempt at posting a blog for the week.
2. My mind is out of it so be warned you will not be given your 5 minutes back after reading this post.
3. I really dont know much about what im going to rant about.

Me and Anna are trying to do a Blog challenge thing here to see how each of us write about a similar subject topic. With our topic being a news post on the New York Times http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/29/theater/29youn.html?_r=1&hpw

The Article is kind of about age and theater / productions and stuff and if theater productions are age apropriate.

I will admit I don’t fully understand the article because my brain isn’t with it and I’m likely to end up completely off topic at the end of this so yeah. Get over it.

When it comes to Theater productions and the like and Age appropriations I’m probably not the best person to try and talk about it as I’ve never really been a person to go to the theater or have an interest in live performance productions. I’m kind of a TV / Movie person which probably kind of puts me in the un-cultured area of things.

Actually, Im not really cultured at all. When it comes to thing’s I can be really stuborn about it which I admit is stupid of me. Some times I will not do something purely for the fact that I don’t like the sound of it and the fact I haven’t done it before. For example when out at Dinner I have my Meat cooked well done because any sign of it still being remotely like an animal / alive I will not eat it. Hence I hate Prawns.

See… One Paragraph in and I’m off topic, I’m really bad at this!!

Back to talking about acceptable age type of thing’s my main thought about this is that not everything has to be like… Adult/Mature/Teen/Pre-Teen/General/Family Etc.

Thinking about a movie like Shrek for example it’s a movie that children and adults can like theres a few lines in Shrek that can have completely different reactions in it, a child will laugh because its funny. But some one older will laugh at it as well because it can have a hint of inappropriateness to it.

Okay I give up it’s just clocked onto 12:05 and my brain is lost completely.
