1211084118_lWith technology constantly changing, and people always wanting more and more, faster and faster. It’s weird to think just how much of an attraction something old can have. You all know me, I’m always buying Gadgets and stuff that I don’t need. But Just like in my other blog post, you can own one of the most expensive high techy things, but still be happy just to use something that isn’t even in the same ballpark, but has the same basic result.

IMG_1830For instant, Digital SLR Camera’s are going down in price becoming more affordable, sure the Lenses may still be expensive, but the quality of the image they produce are extraordinary over a regular 3MP Point and Shoot Camera. But maybe what is captured on the Point and Shoot Digital Camera can make you feel entirely different than a Photo caught on a DSLR. Like for instance, this photo of the Lillydale falls that I took on my DSLR, the clarity, the quality, the colour it is all great. But it holds nothing a photo like this, taken on probably a 1.3MP Camera inside a Mobile Phone. Sure the Lighting is crap, the image is blurry as all hell, but the memory it holds is so much greater. The smile a photo that isn’t by any means an artistical wonder is worth 100x more than a stunning photo caught on the latest and greatest.l_398ee427284f54748ddfe682f133c27b

I don’t know, maybe I’m just feeling sentimental tonight. But after having lost heaps of photos at the start of the year with a computer crash, just searching through Myspace and Facebook downloading a shit load of crappy images can make you happy when nothing else that day could. I’m off to bed now. Night Internet.

Tell me, or show me in the comments below, what photo holds the greatest memory for you.

.. I want my hair back!
Bring your laptop around to my place when I move, I have A LOT of photos of you and everyone else from highschool (pretty talented since I wasn’t there and didn’t know you then!).
Although I find photos of waterfalls etc pretty they really do not do much for me. Every time I look at photos of my friends, especially like the one of you and Caroline I can not help but smile!
You have made me feel like priting out all my photos from college and making a big mural on my wall like I used to when I lived with Dad… maybe we could somehow make an art day out of old photos?
**Side note** I was telling a woman at work about the photos you took of me in college where it looked like I had MASSIVE boobs and no one thinks its me! She wants to see the photos now! Ha ha, just thought I would mention it since Adam reminded me of the photos!

We need another photoshoot like the Georgetown one. Maybe when the weather is a bit better we can go to a beach. But we need props and shit which means bigger car to fit props in. LOL
