So I’m back on my Windows machine now, For a while it kind of sat on the side lines after several Crashes and over the past 4 Months I have used my Macbook Pro. At the start of the year when I first decided to buy a Macbook, I simply wanted it because of the look and the fact that I wanted a new Macbook and I hadn’t had any experience with the Mac OS X operating system so I thought, he why not give it a go. I used it and I loved it, although only being a 13” I hardly considered it a replacement for my Desktop PC, Which I built myself just a little under a year ago now.

But then, you would all remember that I spilt a drink all over my Macbook 13” and everything pointed to it being dead, I gave it a week or two and it still didn’t work. After that I decided that considering how much I preferred the Mac OS X operating system over Windows Vista and XP i thought, hey why not get the Macbook Pro 15”. Sure it was expensive, a lot of $$ and this year I have definitely spent the most money on Computers ever! BUT, i will say this, it was definitely money well spent. Everything just works, you don’t have to spend hours finding out how to get something to work right on it, because everything is made work from the start.

I know that a similar system from Dell would be about half the cost of a Macbook Pro, but your not just buying the hardware, your buying the software as well, software that is specifically coded for the hardware in your new machine, so the chance of failure is much lower, rather than in a Windows machine where the Operating System feels more like its just there to patch things together and if it works 100% it’s a bonus.

One thing I do miss about my Windows machine is the fact that it has a lot more storage space, larger screen and a better graphics card, But I don’t play a lot of games on the computer, that what my XBox 360 is for :-) Oh and the Speakers are a lot louder / clearer on my PC, but that is more thanks to Logitech speakers (which i can plug into my Macbook if I wanted)

Just so you know, this blog post wasn’t originally supposed to be me yammering on about PC, Mac, OSX, Windows it was just going to me having a little rant / talk but hey, what ever works right?

Randomly looking at my Blog Stat’s August has already had more views than July, but it is worth mentioning that my Stats recording was only activated half way through July, With views of July: 187 Unique Hits August: 264 Unique Hits

I definitely agree, Mac OSX works so much better and just feels nicer to use than Windows. The new Windows is apparently going to be a lot better, but hold my breath I’ll wait until it has been out for longer than 6 months.

nah, Mac is a piece of [lame], you might as well throw it away. But since I like suffering, you can just give it to me, I’ll get rid of it for ya :-p
